First 3 Distinguished Club Points for Two Oceans

Posted by LP User on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 Under: Club News
Just  three months into the new Toastmasters year and Two Oceans has already achieved three Distinguished Club Points (DCP)!

By paying our semi-annual dues in September we qualified for our first DCP point! It was a show of great support as always by every member to ensure our treasurer Verity could pay everyones fees across before the deadline. Thank you all!

At our recent October meeting, members Alana Byrne and Babette Davisson both earned the club an additional 2 points. Alana for completing her Competent Leadership (CL) and Babette for attaining her Advanced Communicator Silver (ACS)!  The club is extremely proud of both Alana and Babette for their personal achievements and for helping the club succeed as well.

Our next DCP point could well be for signing up 4 new members. In August Melanie Steyn joined us and as of October Ingrid Kingon and Debby Satchel have also joined the club. Numerous guests have indicated interest in joining, so our Vice President Membership (VPM) Ruth Cort, could well be signing up more members very soon!  As always we are thrilled to welcome new members and look forward to supporting them in their Toastmasters journey!

Looking forward to more successes for our members and the club!

Congrats Babette (ACS)!                                                 Congrats Alana (CL)
