18 June: Year End Dinner Meeting

In true Two Oceans style we all gathered to celebrate another bumper year and welcome in the new committee for 2013-2014.  Kalkbay Theatre provide the venue, Funki Chef the food and Theatresports the side splitting entertainment!  Another laughter filled evening was enjoyed by all, steered effortlessly by Marion Thomas as Toastmaster of the evening. Our June meeting was a bumper one with 5 speeches, brilliant table topics and fantastic evaluations.

With Theo away Jeremy stepped in as acting president and Carey Fenn as Toastmaster was exceptional - her preparation for the role was flawless and she kept us effortlessly on track.

15 May: Lorne Sulcas Crowned Division Champion

Two Oceans Toastmasters is proud to have had two members once again rise above the crowd this year and stand out as exceptional communicators in the International Speech and Evaluations contest.

Local business owner Francois Roux was crowned Best Speaker in the Area (Southern Suburbs) in April and went on to take third place at the Division Contest (Western Cape) in May. Division D means Namibia & the Western Cape of South Africa (approximately 30 clubs)
