29 March: Division Contest hosted by Two Oceans!

Two Oceans Toastmasters hosted the annual Division D speech contests in the Alphen Hall in Constantia. This was the first time our club had hosted such an event and it went brilliantly. With over 100 guests, fantastic finalists in the Prepared Speaking, Impromptu and Evaluation sections and delicious catering, it was a very special evening all round.

Kay Price-Lindsay excelled by winning the International (prepared) speaking contest, and in so doing became the first member of Two Oceans Toastmasters for at least the last 13 years to win any contest at division level!

David Katerere won the Evaluations contest and Thomas Bowman won the Impromptu Speaking contest.

Kay, David and Thomas will represent Division D at the District 74 contest in KwaZulu-Natal on 5 May 2012.
