16 July - Early Bird Express Meeting

Posted by LP User on Monday, July 16, 2012 Under: Meetings
Two Oceans sneaked in a 'back to school' Express meeting this morning with the theme "Believers are Achievers". The role of Toastmasters in believing that you can achieve, was carried through the whole of the meeting and 11 hardy souls braved the wet weather to join us for a laughter filled morning.

Verity Price in her first Toastmaster role then took control of the "flight" and flew us gracefully from Fish Hoek, on our own special trip, including comingup with an "impromptu" impromptu session  which included flight stops in Rome, The Big Apple, and the City of Angels!  We enjoyed CC speeches from Roscoe Louw and Neville Arendse and fantastic evaluations from Marion Thomas and Catherine Burnett.

The Express Meeting Winners were:
Best Speaker - Neville Arendse (CC2)
Best Evaluator - Marion Thomas
Best Table Topics - Babette Davison & Aaron Blanchard
