21 Jan: Early Bird Meeting Review

Posted by VPPR on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 Under: Meetings
Our Early Bird meeting got off to a great start this year with two visitors joining us for breakfast and Helen Burton running a brilliant meeting with her theme 'flying by the seat of your pants'.

Debby Satchel delivered a fantastic CC4 urging us to 'just do it' when it comes to seizing the opportunites life sends our way. Marion Thomas then delivered an inspiring PR Speech to encourage us to grow the Early Bird club with a vision to it eventually chartering in it's own right.

After a delicious Windsor Gardens breakfast, Babette Davisson ran a fabulous 'impromptu' Table Topic session that saw both visitors Mandy & Ann and soon to be member Nick stand up and try their hand at speaking off the cuff. They did a great job!  Claire Strohbach then gave her first ever evaluation and it was clear that she will be a brilliant evaluator with lots of insight to offer.

All in all it was a wonderful start to the week and the year. We encourage members and guests to come along and join us for our next morning meeting on 18 Feb.

Meeting Winners:
